Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Refrakto, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

Refrakto is a private AI coaching tool that helps you reflect on relationships and communication. It is not therapy, medical advice, or a crisis service. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Refrakto. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You’re responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens on your account. Let us know right away if you think your account has been compromised.

Refrakto offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Prices are shown on the Pricing page in Euros (EUR).

We do not issue refunds or credits for unused time on a subscription. You can cancel any time. Your subscription runs to the end of the current billing period and then stops — no further charges are made.

You agree not to use Refrakto to:

• Threaten, harass, or harm anyone.
• Post content that is illegal or that sexualises minors.
• Abuse or attempt to break the service (scraping, spam, bypassing safety features, etc.).
• Impersonate someone else.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

You own what you write. You give us the permission we need to store it, show it back to you, and forward it to our AI provider to generate a response. We don’t train AI models on your content.

AI responses are conversational suggestions. They can be inaccurate — use your own judgement.

Refrakto is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, we don’t make guarantees about uninterrupted access, and our liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the past 12 months (or EUR 100 if greater). Nothing here limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect.
